Financing Options for Housing in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis „Financing options for housing in the Czech Republic“ is focused on the issues connected with financing one´s own housing. The goal of this work is mainly to introduce the issues and possibilities of financing housing of the citizens of the Czech Republic, analyze products that could be used while financing housing and compare the costs of financing housing, while using different bank products. In the theoretical part of the work, we obtain knowledge intentions and developments of housing policy in the Czech Republic; we clearly introduce with the products that are helpful while financing housing and their combinations. Insurance products are also mentioned in the thesis. Those products can protect citizens against unwanted influences during the period when they pay off their loans. We can also find here the recent development of loan products and bank market in the Czech Republic, its current offers and overview of its products, from which citizens can choose the most suitable one for their needs. Practical part of the thesis deals with the comparison and research in the least costly way of financing housing in three different time horizons with the help of one product or a combination of products.

The thesis "changes over housing finance" deals with changes that may occur in the course of financing credit products. Discusses the different types of changes and their impacts. The theoretical part deals with the current banking market in the Czech Republic, stating the mortgage loans and building savings, performance of individual housing finance products and their comparison. The condition and development of market with building savings in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with building savings market in the Czech Republic. It introduces the basic principle of building savings schemes, briefly describes their history, explains the basic concepts of building savings and also focuses on the relevant legislation. It provides an overview of basic information on all building savings banks operating in the Czech market. The practical part of the thesis contains a statistical analysis and prognosis for building savings in the Czech Republic on the basis of selected indicators of building savings in the period 2009-2014. These selected indicators are newly concluded contracts on building savings, the average target amount for newly concluded building savings contracts, building savings contracts in the saving phase, the saved amount, the number of loans, the volume of loans and the ratio of the volume of loans and the saved amount. Time series related statistical methods have been used for evaluation. The dynamics of the individual indicators is placed in the context of factors that cause them. Prognosis reveals the expected development of the indicators in the next year. In its conclusion, the thesis evaluates the status and development of the building savings market in the Czech Republic, assesses its prospects and estimates its further development.
Analysis of the Building Savings Market in the Czech Republic and its prospects

Building savings is a good way of financing citizens housing needs. This thesis deals with a statistical analysis of the building savings market in the Czech Republic. Using elementary characteristics of time series it analyzes the number of new contracts, including an increase in the target amounts since 2000, which shows the impact of legislative changes that have affected the product. In great detail it also analyzes the business results of several building societies in the years 2010-2015, which involves the number of new contracts, including an increase in the target amount, the volume of target amounts, the number and volume of new loans. Based on the behavior of these indicators in recent years a possible development in 2016 is predicted. The conclusion presents suggestions and recommendations for a further development of savings in a building society.
Statistical analysis of the market for building savings in the Czech Republic and its perspectives

The subject of the thesis is an analysis the current state of building savings in the Czech Republic and its development in years from 2006 to 2014. In the theoretical part this thesis has general characteristic building savings and basic concepts associated with its. In the practical part this thesis analyses indicators of progress building savings using elemental characteristics of time serie. They are the number of new building savings contracts, contracts in the savings phase, the number of loans, the average target amount for new contracts, the accumulated amount, the proportion of total loans to saved amount and the average state support. Prediction of these indicators in 2017 is calculated using analytical settlement non - periodic time series and then suggestions and recommendations are found for better status of building savings on the market for financial products.

Analysis of the use of building savings in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the possibilities of financing housing, in particular savings instrument. The main goal is to determine, what are the differences between building savings banks, especially in the product. Another goal is to monitor and evaluate the options selected housing financing in the Czech Republic. The work focuses on market analysis, building societies and comparison of their products. The first part deals with the explanation of the concepts of housing and savings, including the establishment process of building savings and loan drawdown of savings. Attention is also paid to support housing programs from various government entities. Another part describes building savings banks operating on the Czech market. The last part describes and compares the conditions of products, what conclusions arise that are described in the summary at the end of work. Finally, the work summarizes the most important facts from all the chapters.

This bachelor thesis is about credit risk in czech buliding and loan associations (BLA). The beginning of the thesis focuses on buliding and loan product, mainly its loan part. Next part of the thesis describes loan risk in general and how it affects BLA. How it could be managed and measured. Last part compares loan risk in 5 czech BLA according to the information gathered from their annual reports and shows the best and worst BLA according to chosen criteria.
